How portable signal phases work

Only one approach ever holds a green, and every changeover includes an all-red period long enough for the last vehicle to clear the works before the next approach is released. On site that clearance time is set from a measured site length — it isn't a guess.

On hire with us? Out-of-hours fault line

If equipment develops a fault on site, our fault line is answered outside normal working hours and we will get to you as quickly as we can.

How payment works, and how to get a credit account

Your first hire

No forms and no credit application—just book. We take a deposit before the kit goes out (25% of the hire value, minimum £75) and invoice the balance once the job is finished.

Fast-track to a credit account

After your second completed hire, we'll offer you a credit account: zero deposit and 14-day payment terms. We set this up automatically, so you won't need to apply or chase us.

Need an account right away?

If you're an established contractor and paying a deposit upfront doesn't work for you, just mention it in the booking notes or drop us an email.

We deliver tested, charged signals to your site. You set them out and keep them running — by yourself or your operatives, trained and competent under Chapter 8 and the Red Book.

The notice or licence comes from your highway authority and is applied for by whoever is carrying out the works. Knowing where yours is up to helps us line the delivery up with your start date.

First time hiring from us? Take 10% off — booked before 31 December.

Approved account customers are invoiced on completion. New customers pay a deposit before dispatch.
